My new EP “Beware” is out! It is a collaboration with my good friends from Porto, Real Rockers. They played all the riddim and made the mixes, and it is on my label Upfull Posse.
The title track “Beware” was written in 2016/2017 after coming back from a conter demonstration in Berlin against the AFD. The context was kind of heavy, with the rise of Marine Le Pen in France too, reaching the second round of presidential election. I told myself, with a guy like Macron, it will be worst next time, and here we are, 89 FN deputy in the french Assemblée Nationale. So as Kabaka would say, well done! Macron in your fight against far right.
Style is more of a lovers, telling bout those moment in dance where one meet someone else, and would like to make that moment longer…
Time & Money is a reflection about what we all always miss: time and money. I really like this song and the way I delivered the verse, I hope some of you will too.
Panama Paper is one of my classics lyrics in session, doing it since this scandal bursted, don’t remember precisely when. So now it eventually out deh, released!
The Real Rockers guy did some nice dubs, still rideable for mcs. So gwaan show some love, and buy the single in 7″ vinyl, or the whole EP on our Upfull Bandcamp!
I have another single out on Hotta Riddims. The timing could have been better for promotion, but a so it go! The thing called “We rule”, and his a kind of ego trip for the first verse, evolving to my opinion on some of problems we have in the scene something, regarding lack of profesionalism.
